Worst Song: Don't know...I tried to block them from my mind. LOL

Best Movie: UP

Worst Movie: Every 3D kids movie except for Pixar (claymation doesn't count)

Best TV Show: GLEE

Worst TV Show: I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here

Best Manga/Book: Fullmetal Alchemist (still ongoing)

Worst Manga/Book: Xmen Misfits (too fluffy and different)

Best Anime: Axis Power Hetalia

Worst Anime: Strawberry Panic (the outfits were neat but...yeah x.x )

Best Present (any event): Every gift I got for my birthday!

Worst Present: Toothpaste O.o

Best Convention: AnimeNext (not for the con, but the awesome people)

Worst Convention: Zenkaikon (or as it will be forever known as, "Linecon" )

Best Costume: Hungary (Uniform)

Worst Costume: Ukraine (Uniform) (Everyone said it was good, but I thought it made me look 20 pounds heavier x.x )

Best Moment/Overall: Tie = Meeting a ton of new friends!/Getting a new job!

Worst Moment/Overall: My infamous Fall Depression. From the end of August to my new job in November, my financial side went downhill. So far that for the first time since I started going, I have no new costumes for Katsucon...my owe list to my parents was overwheming...my mind was constantly on my deadend future...it all eventually sent me into a horrible depression that still lingers somewhat now (even though I'm now financially better). Add to all that my ongoing worry that everyone secretly hates me..ugh it was an ugly time.


Decade:

Best Moment/Overall: Discovering cosplay/anime

Worst Moment/Overall: My car accident (swerved, hit two trees, and flipped. No injuries thank the Lord, but scarred for life x.x )


Predictions for 2010:

Hopefully with this new job I will see much better things happening...such as getting a new vehicle, moving out, etc. etc. Well...not ALL those things might happen...but I'm praying that my life will improve. Also.. I hope to gain even more new friends. I am also still looking for that certain someone...though at this rate, I really cannot predict if that will even happen. What else..Oh! Loss of weight... I say it every year! XD I WILL lose SOME weight! LOL! *as she munches on cookies* I also would like to travel to places I have not been before...whether it be a new con (DragonCon) or a simple location (Ninja New York).


So....here's to 2010..... and the decade we are about to leave behind. *cheers*

Soooooo.... yeah... I've kinda been neglecting LJ for a while....>.>

I blame Facebook. XD

Anyway, just a little update. I gots me a new job... a better paying job, that is! Which is awesome and means that I might actually one day get a new car, a chance to move out, the ability to further my college education, and...well... just have a future. As a bonus, I am starting to feel better now compared to this past Fall. ^_^

I, however, did not fully escape the horror that is CVS yet. Since my new job has me starting out as a temporary worker instead of an official hired worker (I have to prove myself first), I have decided to keep CVS as a parttime/fallback job. Which is fine, since that means I will get some extra money for the holidays. ^_^

The only downfall is that I might just get ONE day off in the month... two if I'm lucky. x.x So Candy will be VERY tired over the next few months...x.x

If I forget to update again for while, then I hope everyone has a great December!

Went to Hersheypark in the Dark yesterday! Fun rides, but being alone with my sister and her friend made the experience kinda lonely for me. :'( I tried to get Bat_bow_tie to join me, but things didn't work out for him so he couldn't join. *sniff*

First weekend was great!

Saturday night was fun! While cleaning up my room earlier I came across some bottles of L'Oreal Color Pulse that I had from two years ago (they are discontinued now) so I thought "what the heck" and made my hair auburn. XD I then got to dress up and go out to the club to see my friend's husband's band play. I got alot of compliments and got hit on by THREE drunk guys! *lifts fists in triumph*

LOL... Well... I actually met a really nice SOBER guy too... Which I'm hoping I can talk to him again in the future. ^_^

The only bad thing that happened that night was that my mind was still thinking it was summer. ...And I left my house without taking a coat. x.x It..was...COLD. X.X I'm surprised I'm not sick. >.>;;;;


Tonight was also pretty awesome! I say tonight because this morning I woke up with a pretty nasty headache. No, I wasn't suffering from a hangover (since I only had one drink last night), but it almost felt like it. x.x Anyway, I got back together with my friends to go to the Gratz Fair. THAT was heartstoppingly fun! XD Especially with all the *coughnutritiouscough* fair food... Let's see... I had a buffalo chicken quesadilla, fries with cheese, funnel cake, and a chocolate-covered cheesecake ON A STICK. *_* Yep..... I'm definitely not fitting into my Hungary costume on Saturday. XD XD XD

But I got to talk to alot of local friends and relatives... went on rides... got a quick massage... and won a game of bingo. XD


All and all this first weekend has already pushed up my spirits pretty high! (Now onto another week of work/torture. x.x )

Soon begins my three weekends of fun...

This weekend I'll be all alone in the house (did you really have to take the dog camping, too, Mom? Yeesh. >.<) which is more like a mini-vacation for me. Then on Saturday night I get to go to a club to watch my friend's husband play in his band. ....That...and drink rum. X3 (I rarely get the chance to, so don't think I'm a constant drinker. XD )

Then all next week is Gratz Fair time! Which means food, rides, food, Amish, food, cows, Amish, food, demolition derby and..... oh yeah... FOOD. (Deep fried Oreos and funnel cake. OH YEAH.) I might try to make a YouTube video out of that... XD (Hey, I gots me a new cam... it needs to be used sometime! LOL )

Then next Saturday... NEW YORK ANIME FESTIVAL! Yayz! I get to travel up there with Lostdreamz for her birthday. ^_^ This will be my first NYAF (and my first time being somewhere in NYC that is NOT the Met art museum) so I'm not sure what I will be seeing. Too bad it is only for a day, but... ah well. I will consider this a "get-to-know-you" con. XD It will be fun to meet Nikky again, too. I usually don't see her again until Katsucon, but with her chances going to next Katsucon not very good, seeing her at least once before next Otakon will make me happy. ^_^ And I'm not sure who to wear yet... Hungary.. or Iceland. (Sorry America... you just have too many layers. x.x )

Then the weekend after that... PA REN FAIRE! Which I am really really really REALLY hoping it happens since I have never been to one before and have been bugging to go since I was little. I was able to pick up a cheap Halloween costume at Wal-mart yesterday so I can at least dress up. (One of my co-workers told me that most of the people [not the actors] there dress up in more authentic clothing, but... sorry... I have what I can get. AND I WANNA DRESS UP DANGIT! >___< )


So fun timez ahead!! Hopefully, these weekends will perk me up again. I am still finding myself sad/angry all the time. ;_; I really hope I'm not getting some form of depression. @.@ That's the last thing I need right now.... x.x

Why is it... when somebody gains a boyfriend/girlfriend... they change?

Over the last 5-6 years, I had 7 friends who where great buddies with me at first. But then soon after getting a partner, they became distant and....frankly...big jerks. Some gained snotty, "better-than-you" attitudes and others started to become very lazy (ex. not going to work to be with their guy/girl).

Now I will admit I'm single. I've been single since I was born. x.x So it makes me wonder... Do you really change when you find someone? Will I become just as snotty or lazy when I finally find my soulmate? >.>;;;

Am I the only one who notices this? XD

Whee! I can't wait for tonight!!

GLEE finally begins tonight on FOX and I can't wait to hear their new music! For those who haven't seen it yet, WATCH IT! Especially if you like musicals and shows that feature "real" outcasts (and not fake Disney-outcasts who believe that just wearing a pair of glasses makes you a nerd/unpopular). I believe this will become my next favorite show since Pushing Daisies was sadly cancelled. *thinks* Then again.... being my favorite show might also be bad luck for it. XD I never seem to have a favorite show that lasts more than 2 seasons...>.>;;;;

Also, Destination Truth starts its new season tonight on SciFi with Jason and Grant from Ghost Hunters guest-starring (which means the host might actually find something in this episode XD LOL ). And vice versa with DT's host guest-starring on tonight's episode of Ghost Hunters.

So today I finally came to the realization that I am horribly, horribly poor. x.x

So poor that I must cancel any new cosplay ideas until Katsucon (which might get a list cut as well). So bye-bye to my RenFaire and Halloween ideas.... ;_;

*sigh*

HOWEVER, I am still going to NYAF and the RenFaire since I already promised my driver I'd go. I will just have to play it cheap until the bills temporarily stop and I can start saving again (or get a new and better paying job).

Oh gosh, I love Wegmans....

Sure, some people will just say that it's an everyday, ordinary grocery store.... but for me...a person from a tiny town... it's a holiday trip. XD

For those who never heard of Wegmans, it is a very VERY large grocery store that carries all kinds of food. Heck, they have a whole section dedicated to cheese!! <3 XD

So...yeah... I'm happy today... I got me all the ingredients to make rice balls. XD And that is exactly what I will (attempt to) make for my birthday meal next week! Yay! ^_^


(PS. Again, no Crazy Customer Time this week... the customers have been strangely nice lately.... it is scary. >.>;;; )
